Measure the lines
Enter an adult pitch length and width within the ranges in the Laws of the Game and the planner returns a transparent estimate of total line length — every marked element itemised, every formula shown, nothing outside the law accepted.
Scope: adult pitches within the Law 1 national ranges — 90–120 m long and 45–90 m wide, with the touchline longer than the goal line. The result is a geometric estimate for planning a marking session, not compliance certification, and no paint quantity or product is calculated.
This planner needs JavaScript, which is off or unavailable in your browser. The line-marking session checklist lists the marked elements and the Law 1 measurements they come from, so the same estimate can be worked through by hand.
How it decides
Fixed elements — penalty areas, goal areas, penalty arcs, corner arcs and the centre circle — use the measurements in Law 1. The perimeter and halfway line use your dimensions. Lines are measured along their centre; the centre and penalty marks are spots, not lines, and are excluded along with optional corner-distance marks. Same dimensions, same estimate, every time.
