Evidence ledger
Every source, on the table
The complete register of sources behind this site: what each one is, when it was captured or inspected, exactly what it supports, and where it stops.
This is a flat ledger, not a bibliography for show. A source appearing here does not endorse this site, and this site’s use of a source implies no affiliation with its publisher. The rules for how these sources are applied are on the methodology page.
Football Club History Database — Kent League divisional champions [HIST-FCHD]
- URL
- https://www.fchd.info/lghist/kent.htm
- Captured
- 2026-08-27
- Supports
- Kent Football League divisional champions from 1966–67 to 2012–13: 47 seasons, with division names exactly as recorded.
- Limits
- An independent historical compilation, not a competition publisher. The record is not extended beyond the seasons it supplies, and it does not include final tables, results or reserve-section honours lists.
SCEFL — League Cup winners since 1923 [HIST-SCEFL-CUP]
- URL
- https://scefl.com/league-cup-winners-since-1923
- Captured
- 2026-08-27
- Supports
- League Cup winners and, where recorded, runners-up from 1923–24 to 2018–19, plus the explicit no-competition notes on the page: 84 season records.
- Limits
- The current SCEFL site publishes this roll of honour. KentLeague.com remains independent of the SCEFL; reproducing the roll implies no affiliation. Runners-up are missing for many early seasons and are not invented here.
Football Foundation — Seasonal pitch maintenance calendar (written with the Grounds Management Association) [FF-SEASONAL]
- URL
- https://footballfoundation.org.uk/support-article/seasonal-pitch-maintenance-calendar-your-year-round-care-guide
- Browser-inspected
- 2026-08-27
- Supports
- Broad seasonal task timing for natural-grass pitches: mowing-height bands, feeding, repair, aeration and drainage planning, inspection and record-keeping reminders.
- Limits
- National guidance, not a site-specific specification. Weather, soil type, usage and professional advice can all override it. Figures quoted from it are the source page’s bands, not measurements of any particular ground.
Football Foundation — Groundskeeping equipment: essential tools (written by the Grounds Management Association) [FF-EQUIPMENT]
- URL
- https://footballfoundation.org.uk/support-article/groundskeeping-equipment-essential-tools-for-pitch-maintenance
- Browser-inspected
- 2026-08-27
- Supports
- Equipment families for grass-pitch maintenance, share/hire/buy decision points, and machine maintenance and operator-safety basics.
- Limits
- The source groups equipment into dated price tiers; those figures can go stale and are not repeated here as current market prices. No product endorsements are taken from it.
Football Foundation — Grass Pitch Maintenance Fund and PitchPower pages [FF-GPMF]
- URL
- https://footballfoundation.org.uk/grant/grass-pitch-maintenance-fund
- Related pages
-
- Machinery and equipment fund — https://footballfoundation.org.uk/grant/grass-pitch-maintenance-machinery-and-equipment
- Get your pitch match fit — https://footballfoundation.org.uk/get-your-pitch-match-fit
- PitchPower — https://footballfoundation.org.uk/pitchpower
- Captured
- 2026-08-27
- Supports
- The existence and purpose of the fund, the broad categories of supported work and equipment, and the fact that applications and decisions happen on Football Foundation channels.
- Limits
- Time-sensitive. Eligibility criteria, amounts and deadlines change; none are republished here. Anyone considering an application must read the current Football Foundation pages.
IFAB Laws of the Game — Law 1: The Field of Play [IFAB-LAW-1]
- URL
- https://www.theifab.com/laws/latest/the-field-of-play/
- Captured
- 2026-08-27
- Supports
- Adult field-of-play markings and dimension ranges used by the line-length planner and the line-marking checklist: touchline and goal-line ranges, penalty and goal areas, centre circle, arcs and maximum line width.
- Limits
- Youth formats and competition-specific rules are out of scope. Tool outputs are geometric estimates, not compliance certification for any competition.
Legacy URL ledger for the historical kentleague.com site [HIST-WAYBACK-LEDGER]
- URL
- https://web.archive.org/web/*/kentleague.com
- Checked
- 2026-08-27
- Supports
- Evidence of which record pages the historical site published and which URLs still matter for continuity, used to shape redirects and record-status pages.
- Limits
- Proves that pages existed, not that their contents were accurate. No archived prose is reused, and a missing capture means the content is treated as unknown.
Current bodies, for signposting only
Pages that need to point readers at today’s competitions link to the public sites of the SCEFL, Kent FA, The FA and FA Full-Time. Those links are ordinary citations for navigation: no data from those organisations is mirrored here, and an unstable destination is not published as verified. See Kent non-league football for the signposts themselves.
