Record status: incomplete
What the archive holds today
Champions for all 47 recorded seasons, 1966–67 to 2012–13, on the champions table, and cup finals on the League Cup roll. A champion entry verifies exactly one row of a final table — the top one. Everything below it (positions, points, goal records, who finished bottom) is unverified for every season.
Why the tables are not shown anyway
Publishing a “final table” with one verified row and invented company would be indistinguishable from a real record at a glance, which is precisely how bad data spreads. Under this archive’s methodology, a table appears complete or not at all.
What was there before
The legacy ledger records that the historical site kept a non-active all-divisions tables page; its old address now resolves here. Dozens of archived captures of the old tables exist, but captures must be individually checked before their contents are treated as fact — that verification work is real and has not yet been done.
The way back for this record
A season’s final table returns when a complete, checkable source for that season is verified — season by season if necessary, each with its own docket. Material that could help: league handbooks, county press end-of-season summaries, verified archive captures. The corrections route accepts leads.
